Penny Simkin The Birth Partner is such an informative read. I wish my hubby read this before my vbac, and if we have any more children I will be sure to urge him towards taking this book up. It gets them the facts and the best way to handle the situations. It will teach your birth partner how to be the most supportive presence during your birth, and that is so important. Definitely urge your husbands, lovers, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, doulas, and family to take this book up before being present at your birth.
